About the role:
- Requirements Gathering & Documentation: Use cases, user stories, BRDs (Business Requirement Documents), FRDs (Functional Requirement Documents).
- Process Modeling: Trade lifecycle mapping, process flows, gap analysis, workflow optimization.
- Communication: Clear articulation of requirements to technical and business teams.
- Problem Solving: Bridging business needs with technology solutions.
- Negotiation & Facilitation: Balancing priorities across stakeholders.
- Adaptability: Coping with fast-moving regulatory and market changes.
- Attention to Detail: Essential for financial data accuracy.
Competencies:
- Financial Instruments: Equities, fixed income, derivatives, structured products, ETFs, commodities, FX.
- Basic knowledge on NAV computation and Fund Accounting, Mutual Funds AIF.
- Market Structure: Primary vs. secondary markets, trading, clearing, settlement, custody.
- Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, integration, and regression testing.
- Execute manual/automated testing and document results.
- Validate trade flows (order capture, trade execution, confirmations, settlements, reconciliations).
- Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) with business users.
Experience: 4 to 5 years in a similar field
